Hartlebury Common is on fire
A NATURE reserve in Hartlebury is on fire.
Hartlebury Common, Stourport, is on fire and fire crews are currently working towards putting out the blaze.
Police have called the fire a 'significant' blaze.
In light of the fire, Hartlebury Road is closed in both directions and the police are asking people to avoid the area.
North Worcestershire Police said: "Officers are on scene at a significant fire on Hartlebury common, Stourport. Hartlebury Road is closed in both directions to assist Hereford and Worcester fire control.
"Please stay away from the area."
Neighbours are working towards removing cattle to a safe location in the area.
