IN total Worcester has received more than £78,000 in National Lottery funding since the enterprise was launched in 1994.
The lottery has raised more than £36 million for good causes in the region this year alone.
However, most of the money has gone to Birmingham, Shropshire and Sandwell rather than Worcester this year.
Dudley received this year's single biggest lottery grant in the region, worth £2,661,850.
However, funding from the lottery since 1994 until the end of June this year shows Worcester has received £78,986,394 and Malvern Hills £37,339,223.
Wychavon has received £40,138,503 over the same period.
The research was conducted by Solitaired.com, a free, browser-based card game platform.
