A REVAMP to enhance Worcester city centre is well underway with the latest photos revealing the work completed so far.
The transformation of The Cross involves natural stone paving being laid under old tram shelters, part of a bigger scheme to improve Worcester for shoppers and visitors.

This photo, shared by Worcestershire County Council, shows the progress so far as part of the Future High Streets Fund scheme.
We have previously reported on work to improve St Swithin's Street.
The plan forms part of a raft of work still underway to improve the city for residents, shoppers and businesses and drive growth.
The improvements were made as part of the government scheme to renew and reshape town centres and high streets in a way that drives growth, improves experience and ensures future sustainability.
Worcester’s historic Scala Theatre will be converted into a new arts venue and the former Co-op building on Angel Street will undergo a major transformation.
