President Hazel Barnes welcomed members of the Inner Wheel Club of Droitwich Spa to the first meeting of 2008, held at the Raven Hotel.
The December meeting was an informal get-together, enjoyed by those attending, and had included a topical quiz on the subject on Christmas carols and songs, organised by Pam Plumridge.
A joint Christmas dinner was held with the Rotary Club of Droitwich Spa.
The annual World Inner Wheel Day took place at the house of Shirley Jones, our overseas service organiser, at the beginning of January. This found members busily sewing blankets and trimming stamps in aid of funds for the overseas charities supported by the Inner Wheel Club.
