THERE is a very special reason why two popular city centre restaurants in Worcester will be closing for five days in August.

The Olive Branch Mediterranean Bistro and Wine Bar and Impasto will both be closed from August 13 to August 17.

Adam Giagnotti, owner of both locations, is closing the restaurants for five days as he is marrying his partner Marta.

The Olive Branch team congratulated the happy couple ahead of their nuptials.

The restaurant told customers: "Our very own Adam Giagnotti is getting married to the lovely Marta!!

"This means that both The Olive Branch and Impasto will both be closed from 13th - 17th August for the wedding celebrations! We will reopen on the 18th August.

"Huge congratulations to Adam and Marta!!"

The Olive Branch is based in Church Street while Impasto, which opened in February 2021, is in St Swithin's Street.

The locations plan to reopen on Thursday, August 18.
