A Worcester business beat a host of well-known brands to win a coveted award.

Cadeaux Paperworks has been crowned Best Sustainable Stationary Brand of 2022 at the Marie Claire Sustainability Awards, besting international brands such as Papier.

Established in Diglis in February 2020 by Victoria McMinn, Cadeaux now has over 150 stockists across the UK, Europe and America.

Victoria said: “It is an absolute privilege to be recognised by Marie Claire for this award.

“Stationery and paper are such superfluous products that many people consider recyclable when the reality mostly differs.

“Cadeaux seeks to make sustainability more accessible so that choosing environmentally friendly products becomes second nature, without compromising on style.”

Cadeaux specialises in designing, producing and sourcing end-to-end sustainable stationery and paper goods.

The company is also zero waste, donating unsold stock to an art therapy program in Birmingham.

Ally Head, health, sustainability & relationships editor at Marie Claire UK and Sustainability Awards judge, said: “A fun, innovative and eco-friendly brand committed to making sustainability more exciting, Cadeaux offers end-to-end wrapping paper, notebooks and more with the earth in mind.

"I love that all suppliers are UK-based, all products are packaged in a recyclable or compostable way, and that the company is proving it is possible for businesses like this to become the norm and not the exception."

Locally, Cadeuax is stocked at Decorum on The Tything and Petal & Pad on Upper Tything.
