Dan Westwood, sales manager at Nicol & Co’s Worcester office, said: “We invited all those interested to attend a block viewing and 14 attended.

“This produced 11 offers, all of which were over the price quoted of offers over £200,000.”

He said the reasoning behind the block viewing was convenience for the sellers, who would only need to be out for one afternoon.

“Having such a range of offers enabled us not only to achieve an offer in excess of the asking price, we were also able to select the right buyer to suit the circumstances of our vendors’ onward plans.”

He said the good news meant that there were still ten candidates for a first time property still looking.

“We are very keen to talk to the owners of similar properties in the area as we now have a host of motivated buyers who missed out on this one.”

The end of terrace home in St John's has two double bedrooms, off-road parking for two cars, a private garden and offers superfast broadband.
