MR MULLIGANS has revealed the new opening date after a technical issue forced the original date to be pushed back.

Mini golf fans will only have to wait a short while longer to enjoy the course in the former DW Sports in Cathedral Square.

Adventure Leisure and Ninja Leisure announced that the early August opening had been pushed back due to issues with the elevator which has been repeatedly breaking down.

The new opening date has now been confirmed as Thursday, August 18.

A spokesperson for Adventure Leisure and Ninja Leisure said: "We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to Worcester after a long wait and we can’t wait to make the last few weeks of the summer holidays extra special for local families and add a little spice to Worcester's nightlife."

Mr Mulligans has been in the final stages of preparing the interior, ready for the public to visit, with its original opening date first teased for July.

The sports venue has proved a hit across its many locations - and also offers live music and a bar for older clients.

The venue will boast an adventure golf course, electro-darts, pool, ping pong and a shuffleboard - along with a bar and restaurant.

Mr Mulligans was handed a late-night alcohol licence by Worcester City Council earlier this year in March.

The new Mr Mulligans in Worcester, which will cater for families, students and adults, would add to the 12 locations already open across the country – including a spot in Birmingham.
