TEMPERATURES across Worcestershire are tipped to reach 28C as the warm summer weather continues.

Though it has been warm already, Worcestershire will bask in blue skies and warmer temperatures next week.

According to the Met Office, highs of 28C have already been reported for next Wednesday (August 10)

Most places are likely to see a fair amount of settled weather at the start of next week, with a mix of cloud and sunny spells across the country.

Further into the week, there is still the chance of some periods of rain, but generally, the dry weather is likely to persist across the country.

Temperatures remain above average widely, with further spells of very warm weather possible.

For this weekend, it is expected to be largely dry across the region with sunny spells, feeling warm in the sunshine with just a light breeze.

High pressure will build bringing dry and settled conditions, with lengthier periods of sunshine for most with occasional cloudier spells.

It will remain fairly cool in places overnight but increasingly warm by day.
