A motorcyclist has died following a crash involving a tractor near Worcester.

The 34-year-old man was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham after the crash yesterday evening (Sunday, August 8) and has since died of his injuries.

Police are appealing for information about the crash, which happened on the Pershore Road between Norton and Stoulton, just south of Worcestershire Parkway train station, at about 6.20pm.

Officers said a John Deere tractor lorry collided with a Honda CBR600 motorcycle.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or captured it on dash cam.

“Anyone with any information is asked to please get in touch.

An ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham and a Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car also attended yesterday.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “On arrival, ambulance staff found off duty colleagues already assisting the rider.

“The man had suffered significant injuries. After being provided with considerable care at the scene, he was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham where medics were on standby to receive him.

“There were no other patients.”
