Holder had previously denied taking £20 worth of items from a Tesco in Malvern on July 20 and stealing the £345 bike in Worcester between July 13 and 14 this year, changing his plea in the hearing on Monday, (August 8).

Holder was told by chairman of the magistrates bench, Trevor Burgess, he will be sentenced for those offences following the conclusion of his trial on September 26.

Holder denies two charges of using threatening, abusive, insulting words, behaviour with intent to cause fear of, provoke unlawful violence, and an offence of attempted theft of a pedal cycle.

It is alleged Holder used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Malvern to two victims on July 18 this year.

The crown also say on that same day he attempted to steal a £300 bike belonging to one of the victims.

Holder had also been due to face trial for 10 charges of fraud by false representation on Monday.

Prosecutor Varinder Hayre asked for an adjournment of that trial but, after lengthy deliberation, the magistrates bench said they would not grant the adjournment.

The prosecutor then said she was offering no evidence to those charges, which were alleged to have taken place at various Worcester petrol stations in May this year.

The chairman said all those offences would be dismissed.
