HUNDREDS of motorbikes rode through the centre of Worcester causing a stir.

Motorcycle riders could be seen dressed in black head-to-toe while riding their bikes through the city in order to raise awareness for a special cause.

The Chicken Run, taking place today across Worcestershire, is being held to raise money for Midlands Air Ambulance.

The bikers set off from Hopwood services in Birmingham this morning (Sunday) and will finish at Stourport Boat Club Dunley Road, Stourport-on-Severn.

A flurry of bikers were spotted on London Road waving at pedestrians.

Social media users have taken to Facebook to share their excitement about the event and one said: "Our first, looking forward to it."

Another said: "Can't wait."
