The sun was out and the music was loud as one of Worcestershire's most popular festivals returned.

Squeeze, The Wurzels, and Level 42 are just some of the famous faces taking to the main stage at Sunshine Festival on Saturday.

Over the course of the weekend, more than 100 acts will be performing, with The Human League and Dr Hook among the big names entertaining the crowds on Sunday.

Away from music, festival-goers could enjoy the sights of the circus and motorcycle display teams.

There is also plenty for kids, including Disney shows, inflatable obstacle courses, and a disco.

Speaking on Saturday afternoon, Steve High, one of the event's organisers, couldn't be happier with how things are going.

"Everything has run brilliantly so far," he said.

"The team behind the festival have done a fantastic job and got some huge names which we are really proud of,

"It's just a great family event, with people of all ages having a good time."

One of the 8,000-plus festival-goers was Rachel Bush, returning for her tenth year at Sunshine.

"We have been coming to the sunshine festival for the last 10 years we love it!

"Every year we bring more friends with us!

"The best thing we love about the festival is the fact that it’s safe, friendly, carefree and good fun!

"Our children absolutely love it and look forward to it all year."
