At the end of the hearing, after Tatton was asked to stand, the judge told him he must attend his trial which is scheduled for June 12 next year.

Judge Burbidge explained the trial could be rescheduled to earlier next year - potentially February - depending on the outcome of the ongoing barristers' strike action.

The judge told Tatton he should communicate with his legal team and put in writing his defence to the counts before November 23.

The judge added Tatton had unconditional bail in the meantime.
