A CITY garage damaged by fire last night is being treated as suspicious by police.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called to a garage fire in Prestbury Close, Blackpole, at 10.05pm.
Crews removed a propane gas cylinder from the burning building and cooled it down before making the garage safe.
Alec Mackie, spokesman for the fire service, said: "We got the police up there due to suspicious circumstances."
A spokesman for South Worcestershire Police said: "It is unexplained and we are looking into it."
