Our council is told what to do by central government, who in turn are controlled by our masters in Brussels.
I want to see this situation turned upside down where power is returned to the local people.
I would like to see independence for our council, our police, our schools, our hospitals, social care and planning.
I would like to see more local issues decided by local referendums.
Let us spend our money the way we want to, and free ourselves from top-heavy bureaucracy.
