A 16-year-old boy has suffered serious injuries in a hit and run in Hollywood.
He was hit on Hollywood Lane at around 9.30pm last night (Saturday September 17).
Police were called and discovered the teenager, who was taken to hospital.
The vehicle left the scene - with police now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "A teenage boy was found with serious injuries following a collision with a vehicle in Hollywood, Worcestershire.
"Officers were called to Hollywood Lane at around 9.30pm yesterday (Saturday 17 September) following reports that someone had been struck by a vehicle.
"On arrival at the scene officers discovered a 16-year-old boy with serious injuries following a collision.
"The vehicle involved had left the scene.
"The teenage was then taken to hospital for further treatment."
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash-cam footage, and may be able to identify the vehicle involved, is asked to report it online quoting incident number 660i of 17 September, 2022.
