THE POLICE helicopter was circling over the city centre following reports of a stolen car on cloned plates.
Officers arrested two men on suspicion of having stolen a car in Worcester after a search for the offenders.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Officers were called at around 10am yesterday (Monday 19 September) in relation to a car with cloned licence plates that was believed to be stolen.
"Police attended, including the helicopter, and the car was stopped on Foxwell Street, Worcester.

"Two men from Worcester, aged 27 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and remain in police custody."
