A MAN has been arrested in connection with a series of indecent exposures in Worcester.

In all three cases, women in their 20s were approached by a man driving a black and silver pick-up truck in the Shrub Hill area of the city.

In the first incident a woman was walking along Hill Street, off Tallow Hill, when the driver engaged in conversation with her at about 10.10am on Thursday, January 10.

As she approached the vehicle she saw the man was exposing himself.

He is described as white, in his mid-40s, with a shaven head, round face and slightly unshaven.

In the second incident a woman was walking along Cromwell Street, off Shrub Hill Road, when a man in a pick-up truck approached her and engaged in conversation.

As she approached the vehicle between 3pm and 4pm on an unknown day in the middle of February she saw that he was exposing himself.

He is described as white, aged about 35, with a long, round face. He is said to be of big build with a shaven head.

The pick-up is described as silver with a blue cab and a black plastic cover on the back.

The third incident involved the same victim and took place at about midday on Monday, March 17.

The same pick-up truck drove past the victim at Shrub Hill before it pulled up in front of her at the train station.

PC Adam Howard, investigating, said: "We believe that there may have been similar incidents to this, where victims may not yet have come forward.

"I would also appeal for anyone who has information on any of the incidents to contact police."

The man arrested has been bailed to return to Worcester Police Station while enquiries continue.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 08457 444888, quoting 236/S/100108, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
