Everyone was then invited inside for a hot drink and a slice of cake in order to raise money for charity.

The Carnival Queen 2022, Melanie Eastwood and the Mayor of Droitwich, George Duffy also attended the event.

Children were kept entertained by Spiderman and Elsa who were singing at dancing while people enjoyed their coffee and cake.

Hammond spent most of her time chatting to the residents and visitors and was sure to give everyone waiting to see her a 'Hammond Hug.'

The self-proclaimed 'selfie queen' was asking everybody what their favourite cake was after taking a selfie with people who asked for one.

Hammond was wearing a black and white jumpsuit with tinted pink sunglasses, sandals and hoop earrings.

And all the proceeds from the day will be donated to MacMillan Cancer Support.

Hammond also wrote a book called 'You’ve Got To Laugh: Stories from a Life Lived to the Full' in May.

Fans of the author brought their books along to the meet and greet and Hammond signed every copy.

One fan told her he read the book in two days. And Hammond joked and said: "That's impressive, it took me a week to read my own book."

The star has previously supported MacMillion Cancer Support and even took part in a celebrity bake-off to raise money for the charity last year.

During Easter, she earnt the title of 'the nation's number one hun' when her head was carved into a raspberry-flavoured, hot pink, Easter Hunny egg for charity.
