A DISCOUNT shop in Worcester's city centre is closing next month.
The Pound Shop on High Street, next to Worcester's Guildhall, has displayed "closing down sale" signs in its windows.
The signs in the shop windows read: "Closing down sale.
"Everything must go.
"Special offer: Three for two on everything."
A worker in the Pound Shop said the shop is set to close on Saturday, October 15.
The shop opened up around one year ago on October 8, 2021.
The unit had previously been empty for three years after music chain HMV closed in 2019.
