A NEW dessert restaurant has revealed it will soon be opening on a new housing estate.

Droitwich Desserts will be based at the Village Local Centre, Unit 2 Yew Tree Hill, Woodland Way.

Hungry customers will not have to wait a little longer to get their tasty treats with the restaurant revealing it is opening in November.

On the menu will be a range of waffles, cookie dough and milkshakes.

The restaurant will also be providing a create-your-own option for its variety of sweet treats.

Danielle Williams and Ryan Letts are the owners of the business and have shared their excitement for the future.

Danielle said: "Ryan and I are very excited about our new venture together.

"We really can't wait to bring something sweet to Droitwich and start to build great relationships with the community.

"We're aiming to open in late November, but we will be updating more details on our social media pages."

The Yew Tree Village development has seen a variety of new businesses open in the 500-home housing development.

There were plans to build five new shops at the heart of the housing development in Droitwich have been put forward.

The new retail centre was built to accompany the town’s huge Yew Tree Hill development near Pulley Lane in Droitwich and would include four shops and a convenience store.

Henry Davidson Developments (HDD) acquired three acres of land at Yew Tree Village, in Droitwich, from Stourbridge-based Barberry Group in a deal worth £2 million.

Ale Hub Micropub opened on the estate earlier this year after a customer said they should open a micropub in the new Yew Tree Village housing development.

The micropub already runs a successful bar in Abbotsbury Court, St Peter's, as well as locations in Dickens Heath, Sutton Coldfield and Shirley.
