A "LOYAL" office worker at a Worcester garage has been showered with messages after reaching a milestone birthday. 

Rob Mason turned 50 yesterday (Tuesday), and the team at St John's Garage posted a birthday message and a picture, which quickly generated almost scores of messages.

The post read:"Happy 50th Birthday to Rob, our longest serving team member.

"Rob is part of our office team and is always happy to help, he has many years (sorry Rob) of knowledge and expertise to draw on.

"Thank you, Rob and Happy Birthday to you."

In the picture, Rob can be seen holding a custom cake featuring a white convertible car.

Matt Jeffreys, owner of St John's Garage, said: "Rob has worked with me for the last 12 years, even before we started St John's Garage, and he is as loyal as you can get.

"I think that is why lots of our customers commented because he is such a lovely and genuine guy."
