HEAVY rain is set to lash Worcester tomorrow afternoon.
The Met Office is predicting heavy rain from mid-afternoon through to midnight on September 30.
Rain is set to begin at 2pm on Friday (September 30), continuing well into the evening.
The heavy rain is, however, set to clear out by Saturday and Sunday, with a bright weekend forecast.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Mist and fog will gradually clear through the morning as skies cloud over.
"Heavy rain and blustery winds will arrive around lunchtime, lasting throughout the afternoon."
The outlook for Saturday and Sunday is better, with sunny spells throughout.
It will be largely dry and cloudy on Sunday and Monday, but some bright spells are likely at times with winds easing.
