AN emergency worker's car has been deliberately damaged in an unprovoked attack after he left it parked at a city supermarket.
The public sector worker, who did not wish to be identified and said he has 'no enemies', parked his Honda CR-V within a bay at the new Lidl supermarket in Droitwich Road, Worcester this morning.

However, when he returned to his car there was a deep scratch on the driver's door. CCTV is now being examined by police who say it would be helpful if the driver of a black Mercedes, parked next to the CR-V, could come forward with any information which might assist police with ongoing enquiries or rule him or her out of the investigation.
The CR-V was said by the owner to have been parked within a bay.
He said: "I parked up my white Honda CR-V at 11.30am this morning at Lidl, Droitwich Road, Worcester with no damage.
"I was parked next to a black Mercedes. I came back to the car, the Mercedes was gone but the scratch was on my driver's door. It's down the metal, and not been caused by a door simply opening.
"As far as I know I have no enemies and all I'd ask is for folk to consider who from their family and friends were at Lidl using a black Mercedes at that time.
"It may be that a passenger in the Mercedes caused the damage without the driver knowing or it may be the Mercedes is nothing to do with the damage.
"It's definitely an attack. I can't see how this damage could have been caused accidentally. It's doubly annoying due to the cost of repair with the cost of living crisis."
The matter has been reported to West Mercia Police and CCTV is being checked, a force spokesperson has confirmed.
Those with information can contact the force on the non-emergency number 101, quoting DP-31639-22-2222-01.
