A CHRISTMAS pop-up shop is coming to Worcester.

Cards for Good Causes will open a pop-up shop at the end of October in Worcester city centre's Guildhall.

The pop-up shop will be selling a wide range of Christmas cards and gifts, raising money for local and national charities. 

The Cards for Good Causes festive shop is aiming to raise £150,000 this Christmas season in aid of over 70 charities.

A spokesperson for Cards For Good Causes said: “We can’t wait to meet everyone this year in our shop.

"Please come volunteer with us, or come and get your Christmas gifts whilst supporting the charities of your choice.

"I wish everyone a very festive Christmas and hope to see you soon."

Seasonal gifts, including stocking fillers, wrapping paper, decorations, and tableware, are all being sold by the pop-up shop, as well as a varied card selection.

Cards For Good Causes is a charity, operating for over 60 years with the aim of raising funds for UK charities by being a one-stop-shop for gifts and cards.

Some of the charities Cards For Good Causes will be supporting this year include Diabetes UK, British Heart Foundation, Alzheimer's Society and more.

The organisation's Christmas pop-up shops open up around the UK in venues such as churches, libraries, community centres, tourist information centres, museums, and some commercial premises. 

Cards For Good Causes relies almost entirely on volunteers, and have 5,000 people who give up their time to sell cards and gifts and help raise much-needed funds for charity.
