THE former owners of Worcester Warriors have been fined in court for failing to file accounts and reports with the registrar.

Jason Whittingham, 51, and Colin Goldring, 38, failed to deliver a copy of Worcester Sport Limited's accounts for the financial year ending February 28 2021 to the Registrar of Companies at Companies House in Cardiff, on November 30 2021.

Their verdicts were proven in their absence at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on October 14 2022, after being first listed for August 18 2022.

The pair's addresses were recorded as Sixways Stadium, Warriors Way, Hindlip.

Whittingham and Goldring have been disqualified from being directors of a company, a liquidator or administrators of a company, a receiver or manager of a company's property and in any way, whether directly or indirectly, concerned or taking part in the promotion, formation or management of a company for 12 months.

The disqualification period begins on Friday, November 4.

Both men were also fined £660 and were ordered to pay costs of £100.

Whittingham and Goldring have until Friday, November 11 to pay £760 each.
