A recent licencing application has been submitted to Worcestershire Regulatory Services so the new cafe can serve alcohol from 11am to 10pm on Monday to Saturday and 11am to 8pm on Sundays.

The Leamington Spa location has an array of cocktails, wines, beers, ciders and spirits.

As well as drinks options, The Dice Box in Leamington Spa also provides a wide food menu, with items such as burgers, pizza and gelato.

On The Dice Box website, Stephanie and Trevor Davies, founders of the cafe, said they wanted to "create a space where everyone feels welcome".

They said: "We wanted to create a space where everyone feels welcome. It doesn’t matter whether you have been playing board games for years or whether you have never played anything.

"Modern board games are so much fun and so interactive that in today's technology-driven world there is nothing better than socialising over a board game."

The Dice Box also sell many popular board games through their shop area in each gaming café, allowing visitors to take their favourites home with them.

According to the www.franchise-uk.co.uk, there is an hourly cover charge of £2 per person, per hour, which gives customers the flexibility to stay as long as they would like.

The new location is moving into 9, The Shambles, which was formerly occupied by Fast Cash, a second-hand store in Worcester, England.

Another café in Worcester has also recently been granted a licence to serve alcohol.

Sugar Daddy's Cafe on Trinity Passage was recently granted a licence to serve alcohol every day between 10am to 11pm.

It is not currently known when the cafe is set to open.
