LIT fireworks exploded after being posted through letterboxes of homes in Bromsgrove - with police now investigating.
Six homes in Aintree Close, Lingfield Walk and Green Lane in Catshill were targeted from 2am – 5am in the sickening attacks this morning (Tuesday November 1).
The fireworks exploded inside the houses causing fires and damage, and terrifying the people inside.
Police attended alongside the fire service and a thorough search of the area was carried out.
Officers are appealing for anyone with video doorbell or CCTV footage to get in touch and have stepped up patrols after the attacks.
Inspector Carrie Solomon, said: “These incidents are truly shocking and it’s a miracle that nobody was injured.
“Behaviour like this is dangerous, totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
“I’d like to reassure the local community that we are working hard to identify the perpetrators and will have increased patrols in the area over the coming days, particularly overnight.
“If anyone in the area has dash-cam, video doorbell or CCTV footage which may show the offenders then I’d ask you to please get in touch.”
