A POPULAR city centre sandwich shop and deli has closed for the majority of November.
Neighbourhood, of Reindeer Court, is closed until November 23 due to Matt Hayley, co-owner of the business' birthday and "much-needed rest".
The sandwich shop, which markets itself as Worcester's best sandwich shop and deli on Facebook, posted the news on its social media page earlier this week.
A statement said:" We're having a week off. It’s Matt Hayley's birthday week, plus we could do with the downtime, so we’ll be back open on the 23rd.
"Gotta rest to stay good."
In Reindeer Court, a message is displayed on the door of the business which echoes the same message.

The shop makes and sells local and house-made deli favourites, ferments, preserves, sourdough, kombucha, salads, donuts and speciality food and drinks.
Reindeer Court is also home to several other restaurants and cafes including Jaks Coffee Shop, Hangar Cafe and Elgars Coffee Shop.
