IT IS 'tea-riffic' news for hot drinks fans as a new tea room is opening in the city this week.

Chamberlains Tea Room and Bistro has revealed it will be opening on Thursday, November 10 on Severn Street.

Some of the staff working at the new tea room are ex-NHS workers who wanted to embark on a new career after the pandemic.

And on the big opening day, visitors will be able to try a selection of fresh cakes, tea, and coffee.

Diners will also be able to sit outside with their beverage and a blanket just in time for the winter.

The team has said the opening day is just 'a little taster of what is yet to come.'
