POLICE have revealed they have even been targeted by scammers.
Writing on Facebook West Mercia Police said that scammers have called them up trying to con them with a scam.
In a post the force said: "It's always fun when we ourselves receive a call claiming we're being prosecuted for unpaid tax and if we just press #1 and give them our bank details, they will makie it all go away.
"But some people still do press #1 and the callers are convincing, pressuring and bank details are handed over.
"Remember, don't engage, don't press #1, hang up, block and text 7726 to report it."
