A POPULAR restaurant famous for its hot pork rolls has found a new home in a Worcester pub.

Scoffs, formerly of New Street, is relaunching at The Swan Inn on Barbourne Road on Friday, November 25.

The hot pork rolls will be returning and an 'alternative menu' will also be a feature of the new menu at the pub.

Food will be available for pick-up and delivery from the restaurant and will be open from 5pm to 10.30pm.

The Facebook page for Scoffs is also running a competition where you can win a family meal on opening night by liking and sharing the post.

The restaurant has been trading for 25 years and was famous for its Hot Pork Rolls 'Gangster Wraps' and Jerk Chicken.

The Swan Inn is described as a "community-focused local pub with a strong emphasis on weekly entertainment and live sports."

The pub is also hosting games during the World Cup.

Last month, we reported that the once-rejected plan to turn former Scoffs building, in New Street, into a new laundrette and short-term holiday lets would have to be re-examined by Worcester City Council after being put forward again by developer Delta Property.

The council’s planning committee rejected the application in August criticising its “cramped” rooms and for its potential in harming a listed building in a historic part of the city centre.
