Two people were taken to hospital following a lorry and two cars crash on a main road near Worcester.

Three vehicles were involved in a crash on the A4103 in Bransford yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, November 22).

Police said they were called at about 3.10pm yesterday (Tuesday) to reports of a crash on the A4103 between the junctions with Chapel Lane and Bransford Golf Club.

“The incident involved two cars and a lorry,” a spokesperson for West Mercia Police said. “Police attended to support with traffic management. The drivers of both cars were taken to hospital.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of an RTC involving three vehicles at the junction of the A4103 and Chapel Lane, Bransford at 3.09pm.

“We subsequently received a call from police to say there was one patient with minor injuries and that we were no longer required.”

The road was closed for about an hour yesterday afternoon while recovery work took place.
