A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash in St John’s.
The cyclist was involved in a crash with a car at the junction of Bromwich Lane and New Road at about 11.30am today (Friday, November 25).
The man is not believed to have been seriously hurt but was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.
The Midlands Air Ambulance was among the emergency vehicles to attend the scene, landing on King’s School sports fields.
An ambulance and paramedic officer were also called to the scene.
Eyewitnesses said there was a large police presence in St John's.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene.
“On arrival we discovered one male patient, the cyclist, who was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment."
