A CONVENIENCE store in Worcester is set to up the retail price of a Prime Hydration after children continue to snap it up within hours.

Prime Hydration has been making headlines since YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul launched the drink in the UK this summer.

And staff at Nisa Local, in Derwent Close, say youngsters are so desperate to buy the drink they think nothing of paying above the typical asking price.

People have been queuing outside the store in Brickfields to pay £8 for bottles of Prime Hydration - despite official sellers Asda retailing it for £2.

The staff said none of their customers have complained about the hefty fee of £8 so far.

Ameer Khan, who is a shop assistant at Nisa Local, said: "It comes in on Friday and by Monday I have none at all, no matter how big the order is.

"Every ten minutes kids come back asking if it is here yet."

After the success of KSI and Logan Paul's energy drink, members of the Sidemen, who are a group of British YouTubers, have also decided to launch a vodka.

Although staff remained tight-lipped on the details, Nisa Local is planning to sell vodka in the store.

Members include KSI, Miniminter, Zerkaa, TBJZL, Behzinga, Vikkstar123, and W2S and have 138.7 million viewers across all channels.
