WEST Midlands Ambulance Service has warned drivers to defrost their windscreens before driving this morning as icy weather conditions increase.
The ambulance service posted an image of a severely frosted windscreen this morning on social media to remind drivers of the importance of properly defrosting their cars.

A spokesperson said: "Please don't be the person driving around like this today.
"It is very cold out there this morning, so please make sure you fully defrost your vehicles before setting off, allow extra time and drive appropriately to the conditions."

Across Worcestershire, temperatures plummeting to -5C are expected throughout the day.
According to the Highway Code, before you set off you must be able to see, so clear all snow and ice from all your windows.
You also must ensure that lights are clean and number plates are clearly visible and legible, and make sure the mirrors are clear and the windows are demisted thoroughly.
