A Worcester garden centre has won an industry award after creating a “magical” Christmas display.
St Peters Garden Centre in Worcester claimed second place in the ‘Destination Garden Centre’ category for the Midlands region at an event hosted by The Garden Centre Association (GCA).
“This is such a testimony to the hard work and dedication of our staff,” said William Blake, managing director at St Peters Garden Centre.
“Seeing a vision come to life, from an idea that started on a train journey, to a truly magical Christmas experience, in every part of the business is wonderful.”
From a spectacular Christmas display, to a light trail experience, St Peters Garden Centre has pulled out all of the stops this year.
The family-owned garden centre’s Christmas house display is made with 100% recycled materials, and was made in-house by its own maintenance team.
When Christmas has finished, the garden centre will have hosted more than 30 festive events, from Wreath Making to Breakfast with Santa.
“To come second place as a local garden centre really emphasises why St Peters Garden Centre isn’t just a garden centre,” said Mr Blake. “It’s an experience for all.”
