TRAFFIC came to a halt on a busy city road which closed after a car crash.

Onlookers watched as a gold Vauxhall was towed away with a damaged bumper on Bromyard Road this afternoon (Wednesday).

Police closed the road until 3.30pm and traffic was being diverted down Watery Lane, which also had a build-up of traffic.

Two bus drivers who were not involved in the crash came to help clear the scene.

No serious injuries were reported after the crash and West Midlands Ambulance Services was not called out to the scene.
