BOXING Day shoppers are set to see a major difference when they shop with a major retailer in Worcester this year.
Next has more than 500 stores in the UK including a unit at Elgar Retail Park in Blackpole Road, and a store in Cathedral Square, High Street for city centre shoppers.
Traditionally the Next Boxing Day sale has seen queues of shoppers eager to snap up a bargain at stores on the day.
But in 2021 the fashion and homeware chain announced it would close on Boxing Day to give its staff a well-earned break.
And a spokesman for Next has confirmed that is the case again this year with the shop closing for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
While customers won't be able to go in-store until Tuesday, December 27, Next shoppers will still be able to shop online over the Bank Holiday weekend.
