WORCESTERSHIRE pop star Cher Lloyd has been a star for more than a decade now with a number of career highlights. 

But one of the most memorable has to be her performance duetting with global superstar Taylor Swift. 

Cher, who grew up in Malvern, performed on stage at the iconic Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, with the Love Story hitmaker during Taylor's 2013 tour.

Taylor introduced the Swagger Jagger singer saying: "She is a long way away from home.

"She is from the UK and she sings this song that has been in my head ever since it came out last summer.

"I know you probably know it; the feeling that when you break up with somebody and then you're like, 'Ugh, I shouldn't have done that. I want you back.'"

As the Anit-Hero singer announces her special guest is Cher Lloyd there is a massive scream from the 20,000 fans in attendance - before the pair go on to perform Cher's hit 2012 single Want U Back.

Taylor is one of the best-selling artists in history selling an estimated 114 million album units worldwide. 

The 33-year-old singer has released 10 original studio albums including Midnights which has broken sales records since being released in October.

Cher, now 29, told Digital Spy in 2014: "I was so nervous because she had this amazing stage, all these different staircases and all that sort of stuff.

"When we were rehearsing it I forgot my lines - to the one song that I've sung the most throughout my whole career. It's because of the stairs. I blame the stairs."

Cher made it to the live shows of X Factor in 2010 finishing third behind Rebecca Ferguson and One Direction.

She went on to have several hit singles following the ITV show and had success in the US - Want U Back making it into the top 20 of America's Billboard chart.

Cher Lloyd attended the Chase School, Dyson Perrins CE Academy and Somers Park Primary School when she was growing up.

Meanwhile her 2.4 million Instagram followers have been enjoying her active presence on the social network this year, including posting pictures of family life with husband Craig Monk and daughter Delilah-Rae. 

The singer and rapper has also been posting videos to her popular TikTok account including a performance of Mya's Case of the Ex which fans loved last month.
