ONLY one school year has been asked to return to school following a severe water leak at a Worcester high school.
Bishop Perowne CE College, on Merrimans Hill Road, has asked for year 11 students to return to the school tomorrow, but all remaining years have been asked to continue their schoolwork from home.
The pupils had been due to return to school today after the Christmas holidays but a severe water leak saw them take part in online learning at home instead.
An update from the school's website reads: "Engineers have fixed the initial issue, but water is still not reaching our main building.
"Year 11 should attend school on January 5. Years seven to 10 should remain at home and attend live lessons over Teams.
"We thank you for your patience, it is frustrating for all involved and we are very grateful for your understanding."

A Severn Trent Water van was seen at the school earlier today, but Severn Trent Water confirmed it was not involved with the issue, which it blamed on a private site problem.

The site was left without water following the leak, resulting in no catering, heating or toilet facilities.
All students were set to return to school on Wednesday after having a TED day on Tuesday.
We have contacted the school for more information.
