A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of Thomas Allen after he failed to appear for his court hearing. 

Allen, former of St Paul’s Hostel, Worcester, was due to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, (January 12). 

Allen is accused of stealing clothing worth £89 from Marks and Spencer in Worcester on October 21 last year.

The 38-year-old was scheduled to appear for a lunchtime hearing but after it became clear he had not appeared at the court, prosecutor Owen Beale applied for the warrant. 

After discussions on the magistrates bench Judith Hulland, chairman of the bench, announced they had granted a warrant not back for bail for Allen.
