A CHILLI sauce shop in Worcester city centre is moving to a new location where customers can see the products being made.

Mark's Hot Stuff, of Angel Street, is moving to a new location on Bath Road, in the former location of was formerly the Puss N Pooch groomers.

The shop sells a wide variety of sauces, seasonings, biltong, jerky and other chilli-based products.

Mark Symonds, the owner of the business, said he is hoping to open the new location by Valentine's Day.

Mr Symonds said: "I am aiming to open on Valentine's Day for the love of spice and everything nice.

"We will have an open kitchen where you can see the chilli sauces being cooked whilst you browse through products in the shop.

"I should also have an area where I can smoke chillis as well which will be brilliant."

Mr Symmonds praised his "brilliant" customers and said he is "excited" about the new location.

He said: "I have a brilliant group of customers who I am hoping will come to support the new location.

"Bath Road is a busy road in Worcester and the new location has plenty of space so I am really excited about the new venture."

Mark Symonds, of Worcester, opened Mark's Hot Stuff on Angel Street in March 2022, after being previously based in Huntingdon Hall in Crowngate Shopping Centre.

Mr Symonds originally started selling his products on market stalls across the county.

His love of spice came when he was younger, by stealing tastes of his parent's vindaloo curry when they went out for meals.

Mr Symonds said: "From then on I have loved spices, I could eat chillis like apples, the hotter the better."

Mark previously said he believes that selling local produce is important for his business model.

He said: "We have lots of local producers from around the Worcester area and beyond.

"I truly believe in shopping local, local producers really care about the products they make.

"If you don't support local, businesses like mine don't survive so I feel it's really important."
