A MAN who assaulted his co-worker has been given hefty fine by magistrates.

Aaron Abbott, 21, of no fixed abode but previously of Solent Road, Worcester, was told by magistrates he had committed a "nasty assault" on the victim.

Abbott admitted the assault which took place in Worcester on July 21 last year.

Magistrates heard he had become frustrated after a comment was made by a co-worker, following Abbott feeling he wronged for being given pointless jobs to do.

The court heard Abbott accepted he should have "just left it" instead of going into work the following morning and committing the crime.

"You seem to be a sensible chap, this was not the best way (to behave)."

"No it isn't," Abbott replied.
