A celebrity follow has caused excitement among Worcester City fans on social media.
Hollywood actor John Cena has followed the club’s official account on Twitter.
The surprise follow led City to welcome former wrestler Cena to #TheFaithful. The club even said it would put two tickets on the gate for him for the clash with Wolves Casuals on February 11.

A fan joked: “New American owner incoming”, while another said: “Hope you’ve got plastic seats and not steel chairs.”
One Twitter user even dared to dream: “Imagine if John Cena did with Worcester City what Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are doing with Wrexham AFC.
A quick scan of the more than 500,000 Twitter accounts followed by Cena shows that, in amongst the WWE superstars are dozens of British journalists, English councils, museums, theatres and politicians including Worcester MP Robin Walker.
