They said: "We enjoyed a great first week at Crew Clothing, Malvern and were thrilled with the warm reception we received from the local community.

"We estimate approximately 700 customers visited the store in the opening four days.

"There was a lot of anticipation for the store ahead of opening week. Our location has fantastic footfall, and we have a strong brand presence on the high street, which really helps encourage customers through the doors.

"Sales were very reassuring, exceeding our expectations."

Crew Clothing has 90 stores across the country including cities such as Bath, Exeter, and Gloucester.

The spokesperson said: "We had some lovely customer feedback. One customer knew us from Chester, so came in to introduce themselves and pick up some items.

"Another customer knew us from our hometown of Salcombe where they holidayed as a child, bringing back nostalgic memories so were delighted that we had come to Malvern.

"There were comments that we are just what Malvern needs as we are a fresh face on the High Street there."
