DRIVERS are being warned of long delays and a road closure on a section of the A449 on Wednesday.
The A449 from the roundabout at Powick up to the traffic lights is currently closed.

Police have asked people to avoid the area because the area is expected to remain closed for some time.

A spokesperson from West Mercia Police said: "A449, from the roundabout at Powick up to the traffic lights.
"The road is likely to be closed for some time so please avoid the area. Thank you for your patience."

A driver said they went past the scene earlier saw about six emergency vehicles.
The driver said he had to find an alternative route home after police closed the road.
He added: "Had to divert off the carriageway as police were closing road went through lanes in Powick to get into Worcester."
