Signs for a new high street supermarket have gone up ahead of its opening.
A Tesco Express looks set to open at a former Pound Shop any day, with signage, shelves and tills all now in place.
While an official opening date has not be given, the store’s website suggests it will be opening on Thursday at 7am.
As of Saturday, February 18, shelves inside the supermarket, at 88-89 High Street, looked bare but ready, while self-service tills had also been installed.
A sign by the shop’s front door shows it will be open from 7am to 10pm seven days a week.
It will sell lottery tickets, food to go, and chilled wines and beer.
The sign also features a Costa Coffee and Evri parcel delivery logo.
