A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a fight broke out following a Worcester City match.
The 38-year-old man was arrested after Worcester City Football Club's match in Claines Lane on Saturday (February 25).
Police said they attended County Sports Ground after reports of a fight.
An eye-witness said he saw four men in hi-vis jackets pinning a man to the ground about ten minutes after the match.

He said five police officers arrived at the football ground and arrested the man.

A spokesperson from West Mercia Police said: "Police were called to the County Sports Ground on Claines Lane in Worcester shortly after 5pm on Saturday 25 February following reports of a fight.
"Officers attended and a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
"He has since been released on bail."
